Whispers of war become a battle cry in this epic series finale.
Invasion is imminent. Skirmishes have erupted all across Alveria’s borders, but the lingering effects of the sickness have left the dragon guard weakened. Unprepared for a strike at the heart of the kingdom, difficult alliances must now be made to protect them all.
Circumstances at the Akademy are no better. Kaelan Younger’s attempts to learn more about her renegade father and the Terra dragon fighting for the enemy are complicated by tapestries that refuse to reveal their secrets. And when the queen’s efforts to stop the war involve Prince Lasaro, Kaelan is forced to confront the growing feelings she has for her dragon.
Their only hope to stem the tide of war is to find the long-forgotten Standing Stones and harness its ancient power. It is there that Kaelan and Lasaro’s love will face the greatest test.
And one will make the ultimate sacrifice.

"I received this novel from net galley and the publisher. Thank you!
The conclusion to the Alveria Academy series was amazing! It brings together the past and present. Many discovers are made, including the developing war with Unger, which has to do with the past. Kaelan Younger needs to learn and understand her father, Mordon, before the Akademy and Alveria fall and her love and dragon, Prince Lasaro, comes to a horrible fate. She does what she wants, having abilities that she needs more control over. Prince Lasaro wants to save all his people, dragons and humans. He still feels betrayed by Kaelen for keeping secrets about her father, yet cannot stop loving her. Yet, forgiveness is much more challenging to do. Kaelen and Prince Lasaro discover things about the enemy, but the dragons at the Akademy want nothing to do with the human war as they call it, preferring to be in ignorance. When Prince Lasaro's mother makes a decision about the kingdom, it has a huge impact on Prince Lasaro and Kaelen. To save the kingdom they both love, Kaelen will have seek help from her father, who has his own plans and wants Kaelen on the throne. To save Alveria, Kaelen will have to find her inner dragon."

The Dragon Throne Alveria Dragon Akademy Book 3 eBook Ava Richardson Reviews
- Colorful and entrancing, this series will thrill you, fill you with fantastic terrors never felt before! Poe's quote is appropriate for describing this warm and wonderful tale of dragons and the folk who love them. If you love dragons, and love a great read, then this is for you! Don't miss out, read the series now! You'll be glad you did!
- I've read all of Ava Richardson's books and really like that they are in series and have loved every one of them. I believe this last in the Alveria Dragon Akademy though is my favorite overall. I always love her characters but the bond between Kaelan and Lazaro was so special as well as the development of events from the beginning history to the final battle was great. I can always count on satisfaction from this authors books, thanks Ava Richarson for so many hours of enjoyment. Can't wait for what's next!
- LOVED this series. Now and then, the books/scenes in this series bogged down a bit, but then came roaring back. Loved the characters, the story, the development...and just bought another complete set to read next. So happy I found this author (along with Jessica Drake).
- Excellent series. Jameson looking forward to the next adventures . Enjoyed every book written, had a very hard time putting them down.
- I thoroughly enjoyed all the books in this trilogy. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a great story. All of the books were easy to read and understand and the characters were interesting enough to keep my attention. Good job!
- As always a great read from Ava Richardson. You are the best!! Fast moving .So interesting and exciting. Wonderful characters to enjoy. Love and look forward to all your books about dragons and fantasy.
- I received a free copy of THE DRAGON THRONE (Book 3 of Alveria Dragon Akademy) by Ava Richardson from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. This appears to conclude the Alveria Dragon Akademy series. The dragons of Alveria are still recovering from the dragon sickness of the last book. Kaelan Younger, who saved them all, only had brief respite from the hatefulness and the bullying. It’s back. As it becomes increasingly clear that their neighboring kingdom of Unger cannot be dissuaded from full-scale invasion, the Akademy counsel goes into full denial, and the queen makes a last attempt to form diplomatic ties by promising to marry two of her three surviving children to relatives of the Ungarian king. Meanwhile, a rogue dragon is terrorizing the countryside, the capital city, and the palace. The populace is in rebellion, and Kaelan’s father is up to his old tricks.
I was happy to get a chance to read this ARC. I enjoyed the story although I thought it was a little rushed toward the end. The war with Unger and the aftermath was basically a summary. Though they discovered the cause of the unhatched dragon eggs, there was no progress made in rescuing the sad little creatures. Still, I enjoyed the series and this book. I recommend it!
