I realized after purchasing that some of the tables/figures were blocked due to copyright. Yay American copyright laws. However if you are taking this class through a university with access to their online library, it should be possible to search for the original article referenced in this textbook. A few tables/figures missing should hopefully not cause a crisis. You can do it!
Considering the dense subject, the text does a good job of explaining things in a way that makes sense. A little dry but that's to be expected. Good look into the ACA.

Great textbook. I'm a master in public policy candidate and this textbook was assigned for my Health Care Systems and Policy class. This book is a perfect companion for this class. Easy reading for students who have never had a policy course. Great overview of health policy for someone like myself who has taken other policy classes.
I originally purchased this book for my jurisprudence course in health law but years later as a Director of Compliance in the healthcare industry i still find all of the information comes in handy. This is definitely one of my to go to guides in my office.
